The W154 Mercedes Indy 500 car driven by American sprint & Indy car driver Duke Nalon. In 1947 Nalon qualified the Mercedes in 18th place and would be classified 16th, having dropped out on lap 119 with piston issues. Nalon would win the Indy 500 pole twice, in 1949 & 1951, while his highest finish was 3rd in 1948.
